Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Bright Travel Solutions Ltd, trading as BTSCARS, uses cookies and similar technologies on our website.
Last updated: 11 August 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function, remember preferences, and — where used — understand how the site is used. Similar technologies include local storage used by the browser.
2. How we use cookies
Strictly necessary — required for core features such as keeping you signed in (our secure session cookie), protecting forms, and completing checkout redirects with payment providers. These do not require consent under UK PECR / GDPR because the service cannot work without them.
Functional / preference — may remember choices such as quote draft details in your browser for the booking funnel.
Analytics / marketing — we do not currently rely on third-party advertising cookies. If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies later, we will update this policy and obtain consent where required before setting them.
3. Examples we use today
- Authentication cookie — httpOnly session token so you stay signed in across pages (login, My trips, booking).
- Payment provider cookies — Stripe or PayPal may set their own cookies during checkout on their domains; see their policies for details.
- Maps — Google Maps / Places may set cookies when address autocomplete loads; governed by Google’s terms when that feature is enabled.
4. Your choices
You can control cookies through your browser settings (block, delete, or alert you before cookies are stored). Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in and booking from working correctly.
For more on your privacy rights, see our Privacy Policy.
