This policy explains how Bright Travel Solutions Ltd, trading as BTSCARS (“we”, “us”, “our”), handles personal data when you visit our website, create an account, or book a transfer.

We provide pre-arranged UK private hire and airport transfers. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website and related booking channels.
2. What we collect
Depending on how you use our services, we may process:
- Identity & contact: name, email, phone number, account identifiers.
- Booking details: pickup/drop-off addresses, waypoints, scheduled times, passenger counts, luggage notes, flight or other travel references you provide.
- Payment status: payment method type, amount, and provider references (card/PayPal details are handled by Stripe or PayPal — we do not store full card numbers).
- Technical: IP address, device/browser information, and cookies needed to run the site (see our Cookie Policy).
3. How we use your data
- Provide the service — create accounts, send OTP codes, confirm bookings, assign drivers, and send trip updates (contract / legitimate interests).
- Payments & fraud prevention — process Stripe, PayPal, or cash bookings and refunds (contract / legal obligation / legitimate interests).
- Support — answer enquiries via email or WhatsApp when you contact us (legitimate interests / contract).
- Legal compliance — tax, accounting, and regulatory records (legal obligation).
- Improve the service — understand site performance where analytics are used with an appropriate legal basis (legitimate interests / consent for non-essential cookies).
5. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymise it. Indicative periods:
- Bookings and invoices: around 6 years (tax and accounting).
- Support messages: typically up to 24 months.
- Account data: while your account remains active, then as needed for legal retention.

6. Your rights (UK GDPR)
You may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to data portability. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
